Blessing of the Animals

We are so excited to welcome our families, neighbors, and their beloved pets to this year’s Blessing of the Animals! 🐾 To help make this a safe and joyful experience for everyone, we kindly ask that all pets be under the care of an adult at all times (adults should hold leashes, carry crates, or manage cages) and remain along the perimeter of the schoolyard.

Your extra attention will help ensure that every person and pet feels safe and comfortable.

Thank you for helping us create a positive and peaceful celebration for our entire community - two-legged and four-legged alike!

2nd Annual Pumpkin Painting Contest

Get ready to show off your creativity, Shamrocks! St. Finn Barr Catholic School is excited to host our 2nd Annual Pumpkin Painting Contest. This fun fall tradition is open to all students in Kindergarten through 8th Grade.

Halloween Costume Guidelines

As Halloween approaches, we’d like to remind families of our costume guidelines to ensure that the day is both fun and safe for everyone. Students are encouraged to wear a Halloween costume to school on Friday, October 31st.

Please keep the following in mind when preparing your child’s costume:

  • School-Appropriate: Costumes should be suitable for a school setting. Please avoid costumes or masks that may be too scary or gory for younger students.

  • Masks & Headgear: These may be worn during the school-wide parade but should be removed during class time.

  • Mobility & Safety: Students should be able to move comfortably and use the restroom with ease. Footwear must allow safe movement, including walking up and down stairs.

  • Inflatable Costumes: These are not permitted.

  • Respectful Choices: Costumes must be respectful and not offensive to any cultural or religious group.
