Community Updates

Updated 7/30/2020
Dear Families,

Thank you for attending yesterday evening's Zoom presentation discussing St. Finn Barr Catholic School's plan for reopening. A recording of Ms. Kimble's presentation, a copy of the presentation slides, as well as the completed St. Finn Barr Catholic School Infection Mitigation Plan Handbook are now posted to our website.

As always, we thank you for your support! ☘️

Reminder: Schoolwide Meeting on Wednesday!

When I first introduced this meeting, I shared a slide presentation highlighting our reopening plan using the Hybrid Learning Model. With the most recent updates we received from Governor Newsom and the Archdiocesan Department of Catholic Schools, I will now address our 100% Remote Learning Model while still speaking to the Hybrid Model in the event we will be able to return to campus.

Please note that I have taken your questions into account as I prepared the presentation, and we have a comprehensive plan for remote learning just as we do for hybrid learning.
I look forward to sharing our plans with you and continue to pray for the safety and well-being of our entire St. Finn Barr community.
Ms. Megan Kimble
*Zoom meeting information will be emailed to you.

Mandatory Fundraising
Beginning in the 2020-2021 school year, there will be a change in mandatory fundraising. We will have two mandatory financial fundraisers – the Walk-a-thon and Off to the Races. There will still be 30 required service hours, however 2 of these hours will be required donation of time to the SFB Festival.
