One of our main mandatory fundraisers for all Fully Participating Families (FPF) is our Annual Walk-a-thon. This is a fun family event that the kids always have a great time participating in. Family and friends are welcome to enjoy the walk-a-thon with you.
SFB's Annual Walk-a-thon
Archbishop Riordan High School Track
Saturday, November 10th (To be held Spring 2019)
Est. Start 9:00AM
Est. End 1:00PM
Information will be sent out shortly but here are some highlights:
-- This year we hope to raise about $20,000 that will be used for SFB's tech program.
-- Families will be asked to raise a minimum of $125 in pledges.
-- We will set up online SignUpGenius for volunteering and donating.
-- Set up will start around 7:00AM and cleanup should end by 2:00PM. There usually are sports or testing conflicts but with the four hour event window, you can come and stay for as long as you can.
-- We will be making tech-themed custom-designed walk-a-thon shirts. Every student and SFB school and parish staff member will get a free t-shirt. Shirts will also be available for pre-orders.
-- There will be prizes for laps walked and funds raised by participants! A grand prize may already have been secured.
Detailed information will be sent out soon but if you have any questions before then, please feel free to contact Lynda Taschek (Ileana, 4th) at firstname.lastname@example.org (415-517-0723).
For now, save this date and plan on coming out for a day of outdoor fun with our SFB families to support our tech program!
