--Parish Sports Spaghetti Social—­

1:00pm – 6:00pm (to allow Parishioners to come down after the 4:30pm mass ends)

General Information:

  1.   Please bring additional funds to the Walk-a-thon to support other SFB activities!
    a) We will be selling SFB logo apparel that day some come prepared to buy some spirit wear. Be ready for the next SFB Spirit Day!

    b) Lolita Churchill will be taking Scrip gift card orders at the Walk-a-thon. These make great holiday gifts. You will be able to get your gift cards before our one-week Thanksgiving Holiday break.

    c) 6th Grade will be selling coffee/hot chocolate and a small treat as a class fundraiser for their 7th Grade Yosemite field trip.

If you have been collecting Box Tops 4 Education coupons from your grocery products, feel free to bring your  Box Tops coupons to the walk-a-thon. Our Box Tops Coordinators Mary Brezin and Kate Kassuba will have a container at the Walk-a-thon for you to drop them off. The next submission date for Box Tops coupons is Spring 2018 so keep clipping those Box Tops!

VOLUNTEERING AND DONATING Parents, we need your help to make SFB walk-a-thon a success! This event a great opportunity to earn hours for your 30 parent hour commitment by volunteering and donating. Note that each family may earn a maximum of 10 hours per SFB event (as 10 working hours, $100 in donated items, or combination of hours worked+donated items) We look forward to your participation and appreciate your support as a volunteer or in making donations for this important fundraiser! Thank you! 

Volunteering
Shift times for various task are generally two hours from 7:00am through 1:00pm.

Sign up by 12:00am (midnight) of Tuesday, November 7th and get double hours -- 2 hours for working 1 hour! 

Please note that come the day of the walk-a-thon, we may need to redistribute our volunteers depending on where more help is need. We appreciate your understanding and flexibility.

Please drop off donations at the office by Friday, November 10th, 2017
. Attach receipts to the donated item(s) with your eldest child's name & grade. For gift cards, order through our SFB Scrip Program! 

1. Drinks: 8oz bottled water (300 bottles) 
2. Snacks: fruit - cuties/mandarin oranges, bananas, apples (250 pieces) 
3. Snacks: granola/cereal bars (250 bars) 
4. Canopies: 10’x10’, 1 parent hour for donation (2) 
5. Gift cards: $25 Safeway or $25 Visa to purchase snacks or supplies (no limit) 
6. Gift cards: low value $10-$25 to use as prizes for random drawings (no limit)    

After the Walk-a-thon, join us in the SFB Parish Hall for the Sports Program Spaghetti Social!  All proceeds benefit SFB Parish Athletics. (flyers attached)
