Outdoor Adventure Club: Mt. Davidson Hike 3.11.16 {CANCELLED}

Due to rainy weather, Friday's hike has been cancelled. We will reschedule at a later date.

Join us for our March 11 Walk-a-thon warm-up hike. We will meet in the 6th grade/science lab, hike to Mt. Davidson, explore, enjoy some picnic snacks and return to campus by 5:30.
 
Plan on meeting Ms. Bertko and Ms. Bruno in the 6th grade science room at 3 pm on Friday, 3/11. *You must have a signed permission slip (see attached) to join the hike. Permission slips go to Ms. Bruno.

Parents if you would like to join us on this or future hikes please let us know and speak to L. Richardson about chaperone requirements (background check etc.).

Requirements:
1. Students will meet for a planning meeting on the Thursday prior to the Friday hike. Signed permission slips are required at that time.

2. Students must be able to walk at least 3 miles.

3. Parents who wish to chaperone or accompany the hikers need to have a background check on file in the office. Please notify Mrs. Bertko at bertko@stfinnbarr.org if you would like to chaperone or have any questions.

4. No pets allowed.



What to Bring: hiking boots or sneakers with “grip” like soles, daypack, water bottle, sunscreen, hat and healthy no-waste snack, warm jacket or rain jacket if necessary.
