Dear St. Finn Barr Families,
Last week, at the Feast of St. Finn Barr Festival, I was once again reminded of the special community we have here at St. Finn Barr Catholic School. St. Finn Barr parents and children are dedicated, resilient and hard working. The level of commitment constantly displayed is inspiring. When our community unites, it is indeed a powerful force.
It is within this scope of community in mind that I share with you some news about one of our St. Finn Barr families. This family recently lost their home, and possessions, in a tragic house fire. As you can imagine, this is a devastating blow for a family. As this family begins to pick up the pieces and process their loss, I feel compelled to call upon my St. Finn Barr community to do what we do best – rally together.
Let us extend a hand and ease some of the burden this family faces. Any way you can think of helping is welcome and very appreciated. Cash donations and/or gift cards (perhaps to Target or Safeway) may be placed in an envelope addressed to Tricia Gregory and turned in to the school office. Thank you for your compassion and generosity.
