We asked the Kindergarteners what they learned about snails from the FOSS Unit and the 7th graders and here are some of their responses:
"Snails have tentacles, shells, mouths and a foot."
"The shells have different patterns."
"The shells protect them."
"The tentacles are for seeing, touching and smelling!"
"They need food, air, water and shelter."
"They eat leaves!"
"They like it when it is wet, it helps them move."
"We did snail races with the 7th graders!"
