St. Finn Barr Students Celebrate Giants World Series Win

St. Finn Barr students showed their Giants pride with an “Orange and Black Spirit Day” as the team dove into the World Series. Then, just days after their series sweep, several St. Finn Barr students and Junior Giants teammates participated in the San Francisco Giants Victory Parade on the Bank of America Float.

Junior Giants, the flagship program of the Giants Community Fund, is a free and non-competitive baseball program for boys and girls ages 5-18 years old. In addition to providing children with training in the fundamentals of baseball, Junior Giants focuses on the four bases of character development - Confidence, Integrity, Leadership and Teamwork - and offers programs in Education, Health and Violence Prevention. This program, presented by Bank of America, welcomes kids from all backgrounds and encourages them to live healthy and productive lives by getting outside and playing baseball!

St. Finn Barr Catholic School is so proud of the Junior Giants for representing our school – in baseball and in “Confidence, Integrity, Leadership, and Teamwork.” Thank you to our coaches – Ray Ristaino and Bryan Hudon --  for their commitment to our students.
