Most Holy Redeemer Parish Contributes $10,000 to SFB School Families

What an appropriate name! On Sunday, April 15th, Karen O’Reilly accepted on behalf of St. Finn Barr Catholic School a check for $10,000 from the parishioners of Most Holy Redeemer Catholic Church to be used for tuition assistance. The members of this parish have long been supporters of the school, and we are honored and proud to accept this investment in our community. Here is a quote from their website that reflects their mission as a community:

The community of believers was of one heart and mind, and no one claimed that any of his possessions was his own,
but they had everything in common. With great power the apostles bore witness to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus,
and great favor was accorded them all. There was no needy person among them, for those who owned property or houses would sell them, bring the proceeds of the sale, and put them at the feet of the apostles, and they were distributed to each according to need.
