Catholic Schools Week

Catholic Schools Week is an annual celebration of Catholic education in the United States. Planned events that week focus on the value Catholic education provides to young people and its contributions to Church, local communities and the nation.
 
 
  • Sunday, January 26: Family Mass at 10AM, Open House 11AM-12PM
                   --> Free Dress Mass Pass Day for attendance (date TBD)
 
  • Monday, January 27: Friends of St. Finn Barr Day - community members visit classrooms to share life/professional experience with students.
 
  • Tuesday, January 28: Science Fair (Goode Hall) @ 1:15PM - science fair projects on display for students, faculty and guests.
 
 
  • Thursday, January 30: 9th Annual Peace Parade @ 1:30PM - each class studies their own peace organization. Students, teachers and chaperones will march through the Sunnyside neighborhood and celebrate peace/bring awareness to their chosen organizations.
 
  • Friday, January 31: 49ers/Shamrock Spirit Day - students are welcome to come to school dressed in 49ers colors for a special Super Bowl Spirit Day; students also have the option of wearing SFB spirit wear/colors (green, white, black) for Shamrock Spirit Day.
