Save the Date! SFB Walk-a-thon on Saturday, April 6th.

This year's walk-a-thon is named SFB CONNECTS because all funds raised will be to expand the tech curriculum with additional mini iPads and possibly some Chromebooks. These devices are essential for enabling whole class activities and for enriching our kids' minds with new and challenging learning opportunities. Your enthusiastic support will help SFB reach our goal of at least $20,000 to fulfill this need for tech expansion.

Location: Ruth Asawa SF School of the Arts (SOTA) Track
Time: 9:00AM to 12:00pm
 
 
Volunteers Needed 
Your help is invaluable for making the walk-a-thon a successful event. You can earn a max of 10 total hours per family, including a combination of hours worked and donations. There are many options for volunteering from 6:30AM through 1:00PM, with a few easy opportunities to earn extra bonus hours. Go to this SignUpGenius link for details and to sign up:
 
 
 
 
Fundraising Requirement
All “Fully Participating” families must raise at least $125 in pledges per family, due by Tuesday, April 16th. Families unable to attend must pay $175 family buyout by Saturday, April 6th.
 
 
Additional Fun Facts
The 8th grade class will be selling delicious refreshments to raise funds for their graduation. SFB spirit wear will be available for sale to help show off your Shamrock pride. We are planning to make payments by credit card available with Square.
 
Custom-designed "SFB Connects" t-shirts can be pre-ordered for $10 each (youth sizes YS to YXL, adult sizes AXS to AXXL). Prizes to be awarded to the top earners and raffle prizes drawn on Thursday, April 18th.
