  1. How does the technology work? (What does it do?) 
  2. In what situations can the technology be used? How is it beneficial? 
  3. What is one example of this technology in action? 
  4. What are the risks and ethical concerns surrounding this technology?

First fossils of land plants (475 million years ago) are liverworts from Argentina.

Oldest insect fossils (410 million years ago) are of a set of jaws of Rhyniognatha, found in a drawer in a museum in London.

Oldest dinosaur fossils (245 million years ago) are from Africa—the upper arm and back bone; Nyasasaurus parringtoni [nye-AS-suh-SORE-us].

Oldest true mammal fossils (225 million years ago) are of a tiny mouse-like creature, Adelobasileus [ADD-ell-oh-BASS-ih-LAY-us].

Oldest human (Homo sapiens) fossils (300,000 years old) were first discovered in Morocco in 1961 and accurately dated in 2017
